Shipping

All orders to the US and Canada will ship out via USPS.

Other international orders will ship out via Asendia. This mailing service will utilize your local postal service for delivery once the package has reached your country.

Most orders will be ready to ship in 1-3 business days but this processing time can increase during high order volume periods. The announcement bar at the top of the site and the shipping policy page will indicated any changes in normal processing times. Individual product pages may also indicate extended processing times for special circumstances like pre-orders or made-to-order items.

I ship packages on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (or the next available business day in event of a holiday). Orders will never be shipped out on the same day they are received.

Please refer to the shipping policy page for the most up to date information on shipping times. All listed shipping times are estimates and not guarantees.

Tracking information will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout once it has shipped.

Please note that tracking is not available on small sticker orders that ship free via postage stamp. These orders will update status when shipped but will not include any tracking information. If you're uncomfortable with this method, please be sure to choose a tracked shipping option at checkout.

I ship fully tracked to the countries listed below. If you do not see your country listed, I may ship there through my Etsy shop!

Please note that tracking in some counties may become spotty once outside of the US.

I choose which countries to ship to based on shipping fees, export regulations, transit experiences and cost to do business.

I would like to ship to as many countries as possible. But in many cases, local laws and import regulations make it very difficult to do so. For example - Some countries require expensive registrations with government programs in order to export products into the country. Others have very complicated import reporting and packaging restrictions.

The major holidays I prepare for include: Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween and Christmas. Order cut-off dates for upcoming holidays will be listed on the shipping policy page when necessary.

Please be aware that shipping delays can still occur in-transit during the busy end-of-year holiday season, even if shipped by a certain deadline. While I can assure to have your order sent out in a timely manner, I unfortunately have no control over what happens in transit. In all cases, placing an order well before the listed deadlines is always advised if getting it by a certain date is important to you!

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me and discuss before placing an order.

If you discover you have entered your address incorrectly after placing an order please contact me ASAP! The situation can be resolved as long as the order has not shipped yet.

If the order ships with the incorrect address and the package is returned to me, I can resend it to your correct address with additional shipping costs or refund the order amount minus the original shipping cost.

In any case where your items arrive damaged, please contact me within a timely manner. I will require pictures and details of the damage, so please be prepare to provide this.

For orders that include tracking - if your package has been marked as delivered but is nowhere to be found, please take the following steps:

  • Ask other members of the household if they have taken in or accepted a package.
  • Check in with neighbors to see if it may have been mis-delivered.
  • Thoroughly check the area where your mail is commonly delivered in case it was placed out of view.
  • Get in touch with your on-site rental office or apartment manager if applicable in case it was dropped off with them.
  • Wait an additional 24-48 hours, some shipments may get marked as delivered a day or two before they actually arrive.
  • Get in touch with your local post office for assistance in locating your package via a missing mail request. They can provide you with an exact GPS location of where the postal worker left your package.

For small sticker orders sent via postage stamp - These orders will arrive with regular letter mail directly to your mail box within a week or two after shipping. Unfortunately there is no tracking on letter mail and no way for me to help you locate where it may be if it appears to be lost. Significant delays in standard letter mail sometimes do occur, so I would encourage you to give it an extra week or two to arrive. These type of orders will be shipped in a small black envelope with a branded sticker on the front. Please keep an eye out for a letter matching this description.

I cannot be responsible for resolving situations where a package/order is suspected to be missing due to theft. Please monitor your delivery status and have a secure place for your mail to be delivered!

No. VAT and import taxes will be assessed to you by your local customs office when your package arrives in your country. Ika Ink does not collect or remit these fees or taxes on your behalf. Please anticipate these potential fees before placing an order. If you have any questions on this please contact me!

While I do not currently ship to Germany, I am still compliant with their packaging laws as of 2024 and will display my registration information till it expires.

In 2019 Germany’s Packaging Act VerpackG came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).

My company, Ika Ink, is registered at the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR) with registration number DE3496601248962. My Dual System Licensing partner for the collection, sorting & recycling of the packaging is ACTIVATE by RECLAY.

As a consumer please ensure that all received packaging is disposed of in the correct recycling containers, Blue for all paper & cardboard and Yellow for all plastics.

Returns & Cancellations

Yes! If you wish to cancel your order please contact me within 12 hours of placing your order. Please be aware that once your order has shipped and is no longer in my possession I will be unable to cancel it. From that point, it will need to be processed as a return once it arrives to you.

Yes, you have up to 14 days after your order is delivered to open a refund request and ship your items back. Items must be in new, unused condition with original packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Orders generally cannot be modified once placed. However, minor changes to variation on individual items may be possible if it does not alter the original price (ex. swap a black for a purple). Please reach out to me in these cases.

Orders can be combined as long as they have not yet shipped. Please contact me if you wish to do this. Excess shipping costs may be refunded but please note I will not modify or combine orders for the purpose of applying a coupon code or to reach a certain threshold for a promotion.

Reselling & Wholesale

I am open to providing a limited stock to small retail stores or selling for consignment. Since many of my items are handmade, I am usually not able to fulfill extremely large wholesale requests. Either way, contact me if you are interested!

All artwork, illustrations, graphics, characters, logos, and designs are copyrighted works of Amanda Eldreth and Ika Ink. All designs and items are for personal use only and any unlawful redistribution, reproduction, alteration, or transmission of any illustrations, artwork, graphic, characters, logos, and/or design on this website in any form or by any means, is strictly prohibited and punishable by USA, Canada and international copyright laws.

If you decide to carry my items in your own shop, they may not be rebranded or unbranded. Please do not remove them from their original packaging, remove watermarks or claim them as your own.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be found here in denominations of $10, $25, $50 and $100.

Currently, only eGift cards are available. Upon purchasing a gift card, you will be emailed a gift card number redeemable at checkout.

To use your gift card, simply enter the gift card number in the applicable field during checkout.

To check the balance of a gift card, use the link in the email you received at the time of purchasing the card. If you cannot locate this email please contact me.

Nope! Gift cards do not expire. Take your time in deciding how you would like to use them.

Refunds will always in whatever form the purchase was made in. If you purchased items with a gift card, then the refund you receive will also be in the form of a gift card.

The only thing that cannot be purchased with a gift card is another gift card. All other standard products are perfectly fine, including preorders and digital downloads. Gift cards can also be used to cover tax and shipping charges.

Yes, more than one gift card can be redeemed during checkout and discount codes can still be applied!

Because I use a different POS system for event sales, I unfortunately cannot redeem gift at in-person events.

General

Many of my items are handmade! I may choose to get something manufactured in order to keep up with high demand or because it's not something I'm able to make with my own resources. In all cases, everything sold in my shop is a original design or art piece made by me. I do not drop ship or sell items from other artists, brands or makers.

I am currently located in Washington. Any order you place with me will be shipped from here! I do not drop ship or use print on demand services.

While the majority of my items are produced or sourced in the US, some items are simply not possible to source local production for and must be made with the help of an overseas manufacturer. If you have questions or concerns about the manufacturing process of my items feel free to contact me.

I do have an Etsy shop under the name "IkaInkArt". You might even see this url on some of my packaging! I use Etsy for its vast marketplace and as a way to provide shipping options international customers I cannot serve here. Some of my items are also available on a few web shops that highlight small or independent artists. If you see my items being sold anywhere that is not directly crediting me as the artist, or on any other Etsy store besides mine, please let me know if so I can address it.

In exchange for using their marketplace, Etsy charges a number of additional fees to sellers when items are purchased through them. I may price some items slightly higher on Etsy in order to cover these additional costs. I'm able to offer the best deals through my own web shop, including exclusive sales and promotions unavailable on Etsy.

No! All the paintings and designs I produce are by my own hand. I do not utilize AI programs in the production of my art. Check out my instagram for time-lapse videos of my paintings!

I would love for you to use my art as a tattoo but please reach out to me to discuss it first. I have a tattoo ticketing system set up for this purpose. You can read up on it here.

I occasionally have time to fit in commission requests, though it's a bit rare. I do have an open commission request form you are welcome to fill out if interested. I check over commission inquiries when I anticipate having time to take them on.

The best way to be alerted of sales, promotions and restocks is to either follow me on social media (instagram or facebook) or sign up for my newsletter. You can also be notified when an item restocks by signing up for restock alerts on the on product pages. I unfortunately cannot keep up with requests to personally inform you of sales and restock. You're free to email me with any questions you may have though.
